NIOS D.El.Ed Eligibility for Primary Classes

  • It is important to provide intermediate or senior secondary school or it’s equivalent having 50% marks

Important Points for NIOS D.El.Ed Study Centre

  1. Teacher’s that are teaching at the primary level which is in class 1st to 5th should have passed 12th standard with a minimum 50% marks and should have deled.
  2. Teacher’s that are teaching at the upper primary level which is in class 6th to 8th should have passed graduation with deled or should have done graduation with B.Ed.
  3. For teacher’s that are graduating with B.Ed and wants to teach the students at the primary level, there is a 6-months bridge course recognized by NCTE needs to be done.
  4. For ST/SC/OBC/PH candidates, there is a relaxation of 5% marks for admission in class 12th.
  5. Teacher’s that belongs to general category needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in the higher secondary exam and is also eligible for admissions into the deled course.
  6. If the teacher is only a graduate then he/she is required to have a professional qualification degree which is deled for teaching at the elementary level.
  7. Also, the NIOS is offering an 18-month deled program using ODL for in-service untrained elementary teachers for the recognized private/government/government-aided schools.
  8. Deled is compulsory for all in-service teachers at the primary level and for graduate teachers at the upper primary level. This is because of the necessary requirements mandated by NCTE under the RTE act, 2009.
  9. For 10th failed candidates, there is no provision on the NIOS portal.
  10. Also, special provision has been prepared as a one-time measure only for teachers to concurrently register themselves for the deled course and higher secondary exam through NIOS.

NIOS D.El.Ed. Result 2019: NIOS D.El.Ed. Results have been declared on 22nd May 2019 by the official body on its website. Candidates who have appeared for Diploma in Elementary Education Fourth semester exam which was conducted this year can check their results now. The exams were conducted on 15th and 16th March 2019 for 4th semester of D.ElEd, by the National Institute of Open Schooling. The results were expected to be declared first on 17th May but due to the elections, it was postponed to 22nd May.

NIOS D.El.Ed. Result 2019 – Rechecking/Re-evaluation

In case, a candidate is not satisfied with their NIOS D.El.Ed Result 2019 then they can apply for rechecking of their answer sheets. Candidates must, however, note that the marks will only be counted again in case any answer is left unchecked and is later evaluated. Candidates are required to apply separately for the re-evaluation of their answer sheets.

Also, candidates must note that the application for Revaluation and Rechecking of the answer sheets needs to be submitted within 30 days after the announcement of the result and the results of the rechecking and re-evaluation will be announced within 30-45 days of the receipt of the application.

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program is a specifically designed package for in-service untrained teachers working in primary/ upper primary schools of different states of the country. Detailed KVPY Exam Pattern 2019

KVPY Exam is involved in two stages

  1. Aptitude Test and
  2. Personal Interview

Students must need to clear aptitude test after that he will get eligible to clear the personal interview process. KVPY Aptitude test will contain 4 sections, from the below section we will give detailed information about KVPY Exam Pattern 2019:

  • Date and Shift: KVPY 2019 exam will be on 3rd November 2019, and for SA the exam will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 Pm and for SB/SX Stream exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM.
  • Language: KVPY Aptitude question paper will be available both in English and  Hindi languages.
  • Number of Sections: KVPY question paper is of two sections part 1 and Part 2. Part I and Part II consist of four sections. These sections are common for all the three streams. The sections comprising the question paper are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
  • Total Number of Questions: Part I of stream SA consists of 60 questions, that is, 15 questions from each section. Part II comprises 20 questions, 5 questions from each section.
  • Part I of stream SB/SX comprises 80 questions, that is, 20 questions from each section. On the other hand, Part II consists of 40 questions, 10 questions from each section.
  • Type of Questions: The paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). For stream SA, all questions are compulsory. For stream SB/SX, one has to attempt any three sections from Part I and any two sections from Part II.
  • Marking Scheme: The question papers for all the streams SA, SB, and SX consists of 100 marks. Each question of Part I carries 1 mark and there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong response. On the other hand, each question of Part II carries 2 marks and there is negative marking of 0.5 marks for every wrong answer.
  • Time Duration: The total time duration for KVPY Aptitude Test (for all three streams) is 3 hours.
