For Assistant Commissioner

  • Master’s Degree in any of the stream, Humanities/Science/Commerce from a recognized Institution/ University
  • Candidate holding similar post or post of Principal in the Educational Planning and Administration in any Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous Organization.

For Post Graduate Teachers

  • Two Year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the particular subject with minimum 50% marks aggregate.
  • Master’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in the respective disciplines.
  • B. Ed Degree is mandatory.
  • Ability in Teaching in Hindi and English medium.

For Miscellaneous Teachers

Music

  • Five years of study in Music from any Institution recognized by the State Govt. and equivalent to Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree.
  • A Bachelors Degree in Music from a recognized university and B.Ed. Or Higher Secondary/Sr.Secondary with any certificate in music.

Art

  • Five years Recognized Diploma in any discipline of Fine Arts as Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts/Crafts after passing Secondary Examination (Class X or equivalent).
  • B.Ed. Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts (Degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) after class XII will be considered as equivalent to Five Years.

Librarian

  • University’s degree in Library Science from a recognized institution
  • Graduation with One-year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution.

Trained Graduate Teachers

  • Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate. Bachelor’s Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in a concerned subject/combination of subjects and also in aggregate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and also in aggregate.
  • Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE, for the purpose.
  • B.Ed. Degree
  • Competence to teach through English and Hindi / concerned Regional language as the case may be.

Legal Assistant

  • Degree in Law from a recognized University.
  • Three years of experience in handling legal cases.

Female Staff Nurse

  • Passed Sr. Secondary Examination (Class XII) or equivalent and Grade ‘A’ (Three years) Diploma/Certificate in Nursing from a recognized Institution.
  • B.Sc (Nursing) from a recognized University/Institution.
  • Registration with Indian/ State Nursing Council and Practical experience of two years in Hospital/Clinic.

Catering Assistant

  • Secondary School (X class pass) and Three Years Diploma in Catering or equivalent from an Institution recognized by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India/State Govt.
  • Passed Sr. Secondary (Class XII) from CBSE with Hotel Management and Catering as Vocational Subject and at least one year experience in catering.
  • Passed Sr.Secondary (Class XII) or equivalent and a one-year diploma in catering or equivalent from a recognized Institution with three years experience in catering
    in reputed institutions/hotels.
  • Trade proficiency Certificate in Catering with a minimum of 10 years of service in Defence Services of the regular establishment (for Ex-Servicemen only).

Lower Division Clerk

  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) certificate from a recognized Board with 50% marks and possessing a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English typing or 25 words per minute in Hindi typing correspond to 10500 KDPH as on average of 5 key depressions for each word.
  • Passed + 2 level or Senior Secondary Certificate from CBSE/State Govt. With Secretarial Practices and Office Management as Vocational Subjects.

NVS Selection Procedure

  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in written examination/Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview/Personal Interaction put together.
  • In the case of Legal Assistant, Female Staff Nurse & Catering Assistant the selection to the post will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written examination/CBT only.
  • For the post of Lower Division Clerk, candidates shortlisted on the basis of Written Examination/CBT will be called for Trade/Skill Test which will be of qualifying in nature only and carries no weightage.

NIOS On-Demand Certification and Result

  • After the exam is over, ODES results are published and declared through websites for the candidates during the last week of every month. This is for the exams that were conducted in the preceding month.
  • The marksheet along with other documents will be printed for all the candidates that have passed the exam by the M&M unit. Also, this will be sent to the concerned regional center in order to dispatch it to the individual candidates.
  • The remaining candidates that want their marksheet can send the request via an application attaching the internet printout along with the bank draft of Rs. 100 in favor of Secretary of NIOS. This is payable at Noida to section officer of M&M unit, national institute of open schooling, Institutional area, sector 62, Noida, UP.
  • For the purpose of certification and marksheets, all the candidates that appear from May to October will be considered for the April exam of that year. Also, the candidates that appear during November till April will be considered under the preceding exam conducted in October.
  • Re-evaluation and re-checking as per the NIOS exam norms are allowed also in the aze of ODES. The candidates might appear to the director for this on the prescribed form available on the NIOS website along with the required fees mentioned in the form.

NIOS On-Demand Corrections In Result

In case of a discrepancy of an on-demand exam, the candidate might appear for correction to the regional director of their region within 30 days from the results are declared. There will be no request entertained afterward. The application form for correction in the record is available on the official NIOS website in the student’s information section.

KVPY Admit Card – Instructions

You would need to preserve the admit card well after the exam ends and until admissions are over. Hence, it would be wise to keep these instructions in mind:

  1. A candidate must not spoil or mutilate KVPY Admit Card.
  2. Candidates must also not change any entry made therein. For any changes in the information given on the admit card, contact the exam authority to the earliest.
  3. Candidates are required to preserve their KVPY admit cards in good condition until the entire selection process is over.
  4. Do not carry any unfair items.
  5. Any mutilated, altered or invalid admit card will lead to cancellation of your candidature.
  6. Also, carry multiple copies of the KVPY Hall Ticket in the exam hall.

KVPY Exam Center – Items Barred At Exam Center

Take care not to carry the following items with you, lest you be barred from attempting the exam.

  • Any electronic material such as a watch, microphone, Bluetooth, earphone, mobile, health band, calculator, pager, etc. is not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • You are also not allowed to carry pieces/bits of paper, pencil box and the like to the exam hall.
  • It is recommended to wear open footwear not closed shoes.
  • Candidates are also advised not to put Mehendi or any cosmetic color on their hands as it may cause an error while doing digital fingerprint scan recording on the exam day.
  • They cannot sit for the exam unless they clear the fingerprint scanning.
