  • The students studying at the post-matriculation level (class 11 to postgraduation level) can apply for this scholarship.

  • The Fields which can be edited are, Gender, Religion, Category, Profession, Annual Income, Aadhar Number, Disability, Day Scholar/Hostler, Mode of Study, IFSC Code, Account No., Admission Fees, and Tuition Fees. However, corrections made by the Institute/State, if any, would be conveyed instantly to the student through SMS/email.
  • Candidates can fill up the online application in as many sittings as he/she wishes until he/she are satisfied that you have entered all desirable fields correctly. The software provides the facility to save their application at every stage.
  • Aadhaar No. is not Mandatory for the Students in order to Register and fills up the application form online. Students can apply for Scholarship without entering the Aadhaar no. but in that case, they have to enter Aadhaar Enrollment Id.
  • An Application ID (Permanent ID) will be provided to the candidate once his/her Registration is done. It will be conveyed to candidates through SMS and e-mail. Students should memorize their Application ID as it will be required while applying for a Fresh/renewal scholarship.
  • Student cannot apply as a fresh if he/she is a Renewal candidate. Their application will be rejected in that case.
  • The student should immediately approach the institute to contact the nodal officer of the State where the institute is located. Students can also approach the Nodal Officer of that State directly through e-mail under intimation to the Ministry. If their institute is an eligible institution, the State Government concerned would enter it into the database and then they can apply.
  • The name and contact details of the Nodal Officer/State Department of all States/UTs are available in the “Services->Know your State Nodal Officer” option.

HDFC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Students studying in class VI to XII from any Government aided or Private school.
  • Students pursuing UG/ PG/ Diploma from recognized institutes under UGC/AICTE/State/Central Govt.
  • Students whose family is facing a Crisis Situation due to the unfortunate incident occurred in the last 2 years.
  • Students who are unable to continue bearing the cost of education due to personal/family crises. Later on, arising the risk of dropping out of school/ college/ university.
  • Only one student per family can apply for this scholarship.
  • The family annual income of the student should not be more than 3 Lakh.

The Scholarship will be distributed in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) made in favor of School/ College/ University. The Scholarship will not be disbursed in cash or directly to the students. Each scholar will receive the following benefits:

Received applications from students will be assessed on the basis of the criteria defined by HDFC Bank’s management.   • The documents uploaded must be in PDF or JPEG format and the size should not be more than 15 MB.
  • The scholarship amount is disbursed through Demand Draft (DD)/cheque will be drawn in favor of the educational institute of the shortlisted students.

The scheme covers professional/ technical as well as non-professional and non-technical courses at various levels and also correspondence courses including distance and continuing education. The scheme is 90:10 funding from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Mizoram state.

  1. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rs. Two lakh Fifty Thousand only) per annum.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for Schedule Tribes studying in Classes IX & X

The objective of the scheme is to support parents of ST children for education of their wards studying in classes IX and X so that the incidence of drop-out, especially in the transition from the elementary to the secondary stage is minimized, and To improve participation of ST children in classes IX and X of the Pre-matric stage so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education. The scheme is 90:10 funding from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Mizoram state.

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to permanent residents of any of the States in the North-Eastern States studying various professional & technical at different levels from the fund allotted by the North Eastern Council Secretariat, Shillong.

Eligibility

  1. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 4,50,000/- (Rs. Four lakh Fifty Thousand only) per annum.
  2. Permanently settled in Mizoram State.
  3. Studying technical and professional courses up to Post-Doctoral Fellowship
  4. The pass percentage for ST/SC in the last examination should not be less than 60% and 70% for General students.

Scholarship Scheme for Colleges and University Students Scoring 80%

The main objective of scholarships is to assist meritorious students with financial assistance for those who are coming from low-income families. These scholarships will help them to meet a portion of their day to day expenses while doing their higher studies. The scheme is 100% funding from the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Eligibility

  1. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 8,00,000/- (Rs. Eight lakh only) per annum.
  2. Permanently settled in Mizoram State.
  3. Students scoring above 80th percentile in Board examination of Class XII pursuing regular courses.

National Merit cum Means Scholarship

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out of class VIII and encourage them to continue the study at the secondary stage. Scholarship of Rs. 12000/- per annum (Rs.1000/- per month) per student is awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to selected students every year for study in classes from IX to XII Students studying in recognized Govt / Govt Aided/Local Body/Corporate Schools

Eligibility

  1. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rs.One lakh Fifty Thousand only) per annum.
  2. The students shall have a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent grade in Class VII examination for appearing in the selection test for award of scholarship (relax-able by 5% for SC/ST students). The students should be studying as regular students in a Government, Government-aided and local body schools.
  3. Mental Ability Test may consist of 90 multiple-choice questions testing verbal and non-verbal meta-cognitive abilities like reasoning and critical thinking. The questions in the test may be on analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figure, etc.
  4. Scholastic Aptitude Test may consist of 90 multiple-choice questions covering subjects namely, science, social studies, and mathematics as taught in classes VII and VIII.

National Scheme of Incentives to Girls for Secondary Education

The objective of the Scheme is to establish an enabling environment to reduce the dropouts and to promote the enrolment of girl child belonging to SC/ST communities in secondary schools and ensure their retention up to 18 years of age. A sum of Rs. 3000 (Rupees three thousand only) would be deposited by the Ministry of Human Resource Development under term /fixed deposit in a public sector bank or in a post office in the name of every eligible girl child. The term/period of the deposit may be counted from the date of deposit to the date on which the girl child attains the age of 18 years. No premature withdrawal will be allowed.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be an Indian Citizen.
  2. The applicant must be female.
  3. Applicant must belong to ST/SC category or must have passed class VIII examination
  4. Applicant must enroll in class IX in State Government, Government-aided or Local Body schools.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for Students whose Parents engaged in cleaning and prone to health hazards

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for Pre-Matric Education to children of the following target groups, viz. Scavengers, sweepers having traditional links with scavenging, tanners, and flayers. Under the scheme, 100% central assistance is provided to State Governments from the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

Eligibility

  1. The scholarship will be admissible to the children/wards of Indian Nationals who, irrespective of their religion belongs to one of the following categories
  2. Persons who are Manual Scavengers
  3. Tanners & Flayers
  4. Persons engaged in hazardous cleaning
  5. Eligible candidates will submit a certificate from District Social Welfare officer, identified officer of Local body, Civic Agency or any such authority as designated by State Government.

Post Matric Merit Scholarship

Eligibility

  1. The scholarship will be admissible to Mizo students permanently residing in the state of Mizoram studying at RIMC, Dehradun.
  2. The student should not be covered under any other Scholarship scheme.
  3. Scholarship for studying in any class will be available for only one year and renewable as per Rules/Condition.
  4. If after the award of scholarship the cadet is found medically unfit in any way which according to the appropriate medical authority, renders him unfit for his entry into the NDA, the scholarship awarded shall be discontinued from the date the cadet is declared unfit.

Scholarship for Cadets of Sainik School Imphal

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to Mizo students permanently residing in the States of studying at Sainik School Imphal, to enable them to qualify and joint National Defence Academy and further to the Armed Forces.

Eligibility

  1. The scholarship will be admissible to Mizo students permanently residing in the state of Mizoram studying at Sainik School, Imphal.
  2. The student should not be covered under any other Scholarship scheme.
  3. Scholarship for studying in any class will be available for only one year and renewable as per Rules/Condition.
  4. If after the award of scholarship the cadet is found medically unfit in any way which according to the appropriate medical authority, renders him unfit for his entry into the NDA, the scholarship awarded shall be discontinued from the date the cadet is declared unfit

Scholarship for Cadets of Sainik School Chhingchhip

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to Mizo students permanently residing in the States of studying at Sainik School Chhingchhip, to enable them to qualify and joint National Defence Academy and further to the Armed Forces. The scheme is 100% funding from the State Plan Fund.

Eligibility

  1. The student should belong to Mizoram State only.
  2. The student should not be covered under any other Scholarship scheme.
  3. Not more than one child of the same parents’/guardians will be eligible for the said scheme.
  4. The income of the parent/guardian should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- (One lakh) per month for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) for General Category. Income certificates/salary certificates will be submitted at the time of admission for grant of scholarship.
  5. Scholarship for studying in any class will be available for only one year and renewable as per Rules/Condition. If a student has to repeat a class, he would not get a scholarship for that class for the second (and subsequent) year.
  6. If after the award of scholarship the cadet is found medically unfit in any way which according to the appropriate medical authority, renders him unfit for his entry into the NDA, the scholarship awarded shall be discontinued from the date the cadet is declared unfit.

Mizoram Research Fellowship

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to Research workers and teachers preferably below the age of 45 years who have established their reputation for research or who in any field and who have obtained a doctorate degree, have published research work to their credit and have already shown evidence of independent research work.

Eligibility

  1. Only the children or works of bonafide permanent residents of Mizoram shall be eligible for the award of fellowship which application will be made in the form as in the Annexure to these Regulations.
  2. No student prosecuting higher studies or research any University or institution which is not recognized or established by law shall be eligible for the award of the fellowship.
  3. No student found guilty of misconduct or breach of discipline or participating in strikes, demonstrations, picketing and the like for unfair demands from any high-level authority shall eligible for the award of fellowship under these Regulations.
  4. No student who fails to secure at least 50% on an average in the last University Examination shall be eligible for the award unless otherwise relaxed by the awarding authority.
  5. A student /research fellow in receipt of any scholar or stipend except merit scholarship, from any sources, shall not eligible for an award under these regulations.

KCET 2020 | Registartion (Starts), Dates, Application Form, Fee

Karnataka Common Entry Test (KCET) 2020: KCET is a state-level examination administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). It is an offline examination, held for admission to Engineering, AYUSH, Farm Science, B.Pharm. The KCET entrance exam 2020 review will take place on 29 April, 30 and 5 May 2020 (Tentative).  KEA will hold the KCET Agricultural Practice Test on May 18, 2020 (Tentative) for those applicants for entry to Farm Universities under the Farm Universities Quota. The “Identification of Agricultural Specific Specimens” examination shall be held to apply for a quota position. The minimum qualification points shall be 50%.

KCET 2020 also known as the Karnataka Common Entry Test (KCET) will be administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) in the final week of April for the admission of candidates to different Engineering, B. Pharm and Agriculture Science courses in Government/University/Private Aided/Private Unaided Institutions in Karnataka State. Applicants who have passed or participate in the qualifying test, i.e. the 2nd PUC/12th grade, will be qualified to appear in KCET 2020. KCET Eligibility Criteria 2020

All candidates will comply with the eligibility criteria so that their application form for KCET is not refused by the admission authority. It is necessary to fulfill requirements such as educational qualifications, number, topics, residency, etc. Any candidate who does not qualify as required should not apply for the KCET 2020 exam. Please refer to the information bulletin and check the eligibility of the course you are applying for. Nonetheless, a summary of the KCET eligibility criteria can be found below.

  • All Indian National applicants are fit for admission to the Government Seat
  • Applicants should have passed a qualifying examination from the Board/Institute other than those listed on the VTU website.
  • Candidates of Karnataka who have passed the Karnataka State Open University Qualifying Exam are also not eligible.
  • Candidates who appear in Class 12 or Second PUC this year may also be subject to a qualifying test with the appropriate passing percentage of marks.
  • Candidates who pass in all subjects but then drop one, two or more subjects for the Improvement Exam are also not qualified.
  • Students appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC 2020 do not need to apply their mark card to the KEA, as it will be received directly from the PUE Office.
  • Applicants who will participate in the Class 12 exam or have passed the exam from other boards (including J & K) can, however, submit a photocopy of their Class 12 standard mark card by specifying their CET number to KEA.

KCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

  • Entered Class 12/2nd PUC or similar with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45 percent marks in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer. (40% of candidates in the SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B categories).
  • Merit/Rank shall be equipped by taking the marks in equal proportions in QE and CET in PCM topics.

KCET B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 

Passed Class 12/2nd PUC or equivalent achieving 50 percent marks in full at 2nd PUC/Class 12/Equivalent Test in all subjects and a minimum of 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and also (45 percent for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B applicants and people with mental retardation or mental illness impairment (including Dyslexia).

KCET Application Form – How To Apply Online?

In the first week of February, KEA will launch the application form of KCET 2020 in online mode for various courses. Applicants will have to review the eligibility criteria as specified by the authority before completing the application form for KCET 2020. The application form of KCET 2020 will only be accessible in online mode. Applicants are advised to keep all required details, such as valid email ID, personal phone number, communication, and academic data, etc.ready before filling out the Karnataka Common Entry Test 2020 application form. The steps below to fill out the application form for reference are as follows:

  • Step 1 – Login: Applicants need to press “Registered User?” To continue the online application phase, click here to Register. Enter all the required details and click the submit button. The application number and user ID will be displayed on the screen and sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID.
  • Step 2 – Enter login and Personal Details: Applicants must enter login details (User ID and password) on the KCET 2020 login page.   • Step 5 – Printing of the application form of KCET 2020: Upon payment of charges, applicants must print the completed application form of KCET in A4 size paper and affix the following documents:
    • A recent image of the applicant
    • Signature
    • Left thumb printing

Applicants must take the signature and seal of their respective college boards or similar. Applicants are advised to keep 2 or 3 photocopies of the application form secure for potential entry. KCET Application Edit Link-The authorities will also provide the applicants with the opportunity to edit their KCET application form. Candidates will only be able to make corrections within the time specified by the authorities.

KCET Application Fee 2020

  • Candidates may make payment only through the offline mode (through the Challan bank specified).
  • The application fee is Rs. 650 for applicants in the General & OBC class.
  • Candidates that come within the SC/ST classification must pay Rs. 500 as an application fee.
  • Rs. 750 for candidates residing outside the state of Karnataka and Rs. 5,000 for candidates residing outside India.

Payment by Challan: The lender must hold a bank version of the Challan and turn over the other two copies of the Challan to the members.

Applicants residing outside India shall pay the fees in the form of a Request Draft drawn up in favor of the Executive Director, the Karnataka Examinations Authority, payable at Bangalore, the petition submission should be sent to the KEA address by specifying the application number.

Practical Test Admission Fees under the Agricultural Quota: Rs. 500/‐ for General and OBC (Rs. 250/‐ for SC, ST and Category ‐1) shall be paid at the respective Practical Test Center on the date of the confirmation of the documentation in the form of a Request Draft drawn up in favor of the Comptroller of the respective University.

KCET Admit Card 2020

  • The KCET 2020 Admit Card will be eligible from 16 April 2020 (Tentative) onwards.
  • Applicants may access the Admission Card from the official website of KCET, i.e. kea.kar.nic.in, using their Application Number and Birth Date. The KCET Admit Card includes information such as the name of the applicant, the roll number, the location of the Exam Center, the date of the Exam & Time and other data.
  • Carry any valid Photo Identity Card including Passport/Aadhar Card/PAN Card/College Id Card/2nd PU/12th Std Examination Admission Ticket/Bus Pass to the Examination Room.
  • It is important to keep the admission card until KCET Counseling is completed.

KCET Exam Pattern 2020

This will support the applicants who are studying for the KCET test. The questions in the KCET Question Paper will be taken from the First and Second PUC Syllabus recommended by the PUE. KCET will take place in two days and four hours. On the first day, the Mathematics and Biology Exam will take place in two sessions and on the second day, the Physics and Chemistry Exam will take place in two sessions.   • The questions will come from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
  • Each query must carry one label and the document will have 60 points.
  • Candidates will have to answer questions in 80 minutes.
  • Every query will have four choices out of which only one solution is correct.

  • No marks shall be given for multiple answers to a question.

KCET OMR Sheet Instructions

Applicants should be very cautious when labeling the answer in the OMR paper. KEA will run the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) section on its website. The KCET OMR layer is split into two parts, namely the top and bottom sections. The top section will provide information about the applicant, such as the title, CET number, version code and a serial number of the query booklet. In the bottom section, the candidates should show the responses, the signature of the room Invigilator & Candidate and the Left-Hand Thumb Impression of the Candidate.   • Download and practice the OMR sheet from the website using a blue or black ink ballpoint.
  • It will help to improve the consistency of writing and to shad specifics such as Title, CET Number, Query Booklet Version Script, etc.
  • The OMR panel will have two sheets in which the upper sheet is to be used for correct response labeling and eventual screening and assessment. The lower layer is covered with a special type of chemical that serves as a carbon paper and will be returned to the applicants at the conclusion of each test session.

KCET Result 2020

The results for KCET B.Tech, B-Farm and Agriculture will be announced online by KEA. Applicants will need to type their registration number to verify their progress.
