SWAYAM Registration

The main objective of launching the SWAYAM portal was to provide content of courses from secondary level courses to post-graduation level courses. These include all the disciplines and thereby making it available on the SWAYAM portal. Furthermore, the platform also conducts the online exam and awards the certificates to the learners for completing the course. There are also institutes that implement a choice based credit system through the SWAYAM portal. Thus, this portal is aimed at addressing the needs of learners and students that are studying in colleges and universities across the country.

SWAYAM 2019 Registration Dates

SWAYAM offers many courses for the students. Some of the courses in the portal are self-paced courses while other courses are scheduled courses. Students can register anytime for the self-paced courses. It is as per their convenience while scheduled courses are needed to be registered at least 60 days before that particular course starts. Also, students can check out the available scheduled courses on the SWAYAM portal. One such scheduled course is ARPIT which is an annual refresher program in teaching.

Annual Refresher Programme In Teaching (ARPIT) 2019, as part of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) was launched in 2018. The first round of training of higher education faculty was completed in March 2019 with the conduct of examination.

SWAYAM Eligibility Criteria

There are no eligibility criteria for any learner specified under the SWAYAM portal. As the main objective of SWAYAM is to develop knowledge, skill, and education, every citizen of India can do it without any eligibility criteria. However, if a person wants to obtain the certificate then he/she needs to check for the eligibility requirements of that particular course in the portal.

How To Register on SWAYAM Portal?

  • Go to the official website of SWAYAM which is swayam.gov.in.
  • On the homepage, you will find a link to ‘register’ for the course.
  • When you click on it, a login page will appear. Candidates can log in using any of their social media accounts like Google, Microsoft, or Facebook.
  • There is another option of sign up now. On choosing this option, the page will appear that will ask for various details to open the account.
  • Once the account is created, a verification link will be sent on the email ID. When you click on the link, a ‘create’ button will enter where you have to enter the names in the required fields.

SWAYAM Portal Fee

There is no fee involved in learning a course through the SWAYAM portal. All the courses that are available on SWAYAM, whether they are self-paced or scheduled are available for free. However, for candidates wanting to obtain the certificate after the courses are completed, there is a requirement of a specified fee. The amount of fee usually charged here is very low. Certificates will only be provided to students who have registered for the course and paid the fee and also completed the exam at the end.

SWAYAM Technical Requirements

SWAYAM is an online portal and thus there are some technical requirements that every student should have if he/she wishes to pursue a course from this portal.

  • Students need to have an active internet connection to get the free online course content. Without the internet or even with a poor internet connection they will not be able to consume the online content.
  • For the laptop, the system requirements are
  • The operating system for the laptop should be Microsoft Windows, Linux, Android, Mac OS.
  • Port 80 or port 1935 RTMP should be open.
  • It can be viewed on browsers like internet explorer, firefox, chrome, Safari, and Opera.

SWAYAM – Evaluation, and Certification

Once the students have completed the course they have the option to appear for the course. Evaluation for the course is done by the host institute and the principal invigilator. Evaluation for the candidate is done based on the performance of the candidate in exam, practicals, assignments, and credit earned during the course. After the exam is conducted and the evaluation process is completed, marks are awarded to the candidate as per the evaluation scheme. The final grade or marks are communicated to the students within 4 weeks from the final exam is completed.

After the procedure for evaluation is completed, certificates are provided to the successful candidates. The certificate is provided by the principal invigilator and is sent to the parent Institute.

How To Check Exam Result on SWAYAM Portal?

The results for the candidates are declared on the portal after the exam is finished. The result is made available for everyone to download on the SWAYAM portal. Candidates just need to visit the portal and click on the link provided for the result on the homepage. Just enter the candidate ID and click on the view result button. The scorecard will appear on the screen and you can download it for any future purposes.

The SWAYAM shall cover the following

  1. Curriculum based course contents covering diverse disciplines such as arts, science, commerce, performing arts, social sciences, and humanities, engineering, technology, law, medicine, agriculture, etc. in higher education domain (all courses to be certification-ready).

  5. Curricula and courses that can meet the needs of life-long learners.

Re-evaluation of Haryana Class 10th Results

If the students are not happy with their marks or if they have not passed the exam, they can choose for revaluation of their results, declared by the Board of School Education, Haryana. To apply for it, students will have to download the application form for a re-evaluation of marks available in the Haryana board official website.

Students have to send the filled application form along with a nominal fee deposit fee to the Haryana State Board authority, for re-checking the answer sheets, declaring the name of the subject in the form.  After the submission of the form, the board personnel of Haryana will recheck the answer sheets for the subject, which has to be re-evaluated or for which the objection has been proposed.

  • School fees, Hostel fees, and College fees will be paid by SBI. 
  • Fees payable to Exams, Library and Laboratory.
  • Purchase of Books/Equipment/Instruments/Uniforms, Purchase of computers- essential for completion of the course (Maximum 20% of the total tuition fees payable for completion of the course)
  • Caution Deposit/Building Fund/Refundable Deposit (Maximum 10% of tuition fees for the entire course)
  • Travel Expenses/Passage money for studies abroad
  • Cost of a Two-wheeler up to Rs. 50,000/-
  • Any other expenses required to complete the course like study tours, project work, etc will also be paid

Expenses Covered Under SBI Scholar Loan: 

  • Fees payable to College or School or Hostel
  • Examination/ Library/ Laboratory fees
  • Purchase of Books/Equipment/Instruments
  • Caution deposit/building fund/ refundable deposit supported by Institution bills/ receipts (The amount should not exceed 10% of the tuition fees for the entire course)
  • Travel expenses/expenses on an exchange programme (No voucher/ receipt required, purpose (end-use) need to be self-certified)
  • Purchase of computer/laptop (Expenditure not to exceed 25% of the loan amount (up to a lumpsum amount of max Rs. 1 Lac))
  • Any other expenses related to education (Expenditure beyond 25% cap permitted subject to production of voucher/ receipt)

Expenses Covered Under SBI Skill Loan: 

  • Tuition / Course Fee
  • Examination / Library / Laboratory fee
  • Caution deposit
  • Purchase of books, equipment and instruments
  • Any other reasonable expenditure found necessary for the completion of the Course. 

Expenses Covered Under SBI Global Ed-Vantage Loan 

  • Fee payable to college/school/hostel.
  • Examination/Library/Laboratory fee.
  • Travel expenses/passage money for studies abroad.
  • Purchase of books/equipments/instruments/uniforms/ computer at reasonable cost, if required for course completion and any other expense required to complete the course– like study tours, project work, thesis, etc. can be considered for loan subject to the condition that these should be capped at 20% of the total tuition fees payable for completion of the course.
  • Caution deposit /building fund/refundable deposit supported by Institution bills/receipts the amount considered for the loan should not exceed 10% of the tuition fees for the entire course.

<h3>SBI Education Loan – Loan Amount and Security

  1. SBI Student Loan Scheme Amount and Security

Loan Amount – SBI Student Loan Scheme offers a maximum of INR 10 lakhs for studies in India and whereas for students opting abroad, this scheme offers a maximum of INR 20 lakhs. 

Security –  

  • For loan amount up to INR 7.5 lakhs does not require any collateral security or third-party guarantee. Only parent/guardian as co-borrower are considered.
  •  Tangible collateral security and parent/guardian as co-borrower are required for loan amount above INR 7.5 lakhs.

2. SBI Scholar Loan Scheme Amount And Security

  • The minimum loan amount is of INR 7.5 lakhs and the maximum loan amount is  INR 40 lakhs is offered under SBI Scholar Loan scheme depending upon the type of institution the student is opting for. 
  • Minimum loan amounts for all covered institutions, no security is required; only parent/guardian can act as the co-borrower.
  •  Maximum loan amount for List A and List B institutions, tangible collateral of full value and parent/guardian as co-borrower are necessary.

3. SBI Skill Loan Scheme amount and security

  • SBI Skill Loan Scheme grants a minimum loan amount of INR 5,000 and a maximum loan amount of INR 1,50,000. 
  • No collateral or third-party guarantee is required. Only parent/guardian as co-borrower are considered. 

4. SBI Global Ed-Vantage Scheme amount and security

  • SBI Global Ed-Vantage Scheme offers a minimum loan amount of INR 20 lacs and maximum loan amount of INR 1.5 Cr. 
  • Tangible collateral security is required. 
  • Collateral security offered by third-party (other than parents) will also be accepted here. 

SBI Education Loan – Interest Rate

The repayment rules for each scheme under SBI Education Loan varies. The repayment rules under various shcmes are listed below:

SBI Student Loan Repayment Rules:

  • Students must start repaying the amount one year after the completion of course.
  • The loan has to be rapaid within 15 years once the repayement is intitiated.
  • In case if students avail any loan for higher stuides, the same shoud be repayed by combing the amount within 15 years after the completion of the second course. 

SBI Skill Loan Repayment Rules:

Answer 4 –  According to SBI, for loan amount up to INR 7.5 lakhs does not require any collateral security or third-party guarantee. Only parent/guardian as co-borrower are considered.

Answer 5 –  Generally education loan processing may take anything between 7 to 10 days from the day of submission of complete loan application with required documents.

UP Board Class 10 Supplementary Exam 2019: UP Board Class 10 Supplementary Exam 2019 is conducted for students who fail to pass in one exam. State Board Supplementary Exams
