SSO Scholarship 2019-2020 (राजस्थान एसएसओ छात्रवृत्ति 2020): SSO Scholarship (SJE Scholarship) is applicable particularly for the candidates of Rajasthan state. The Government of Rajasthan with its subsidiary departments presents scholarships to exemplary, underprivileged and meritorious candidates of the state under various schemes of SSO Scholarship. The state scholarship promotes candidates to pursue further education in the state which boasts of as many as 9 universities, more than 250 colleges, 55000 primary and 7400 secondary schools. The state also has more than 40 engineering colleges as well.

  • Post-Matric & CM Scholarship, Rajasthan: This scholarship is applicable for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EBC/SBC/DNT category and is studying in Class 11 or 12 at a recognized school. Administered by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Government of Rajasthan, this scholarship strives at providing financial support to the candidates belonging to these categories to carry out further education. The scholarship majorly includes the maintenance allowance and fees for further studies.

It is applicable for pursuing Ph.D. studies in the field of Social Science, Public Administration, Law, Economics, Political Science and Anthropology. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions of this scholarship can persevere in their dream research career abroad without any financial limitation.
  • Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC candidates, Rajasthan: Introduced on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, this fellowship scheme strives at providing financial support to candidates who are willing to pursue a Ph.D. program in the streams of Social Science, Public Administration, Law, Economics, Political Science and Anthropology. A total of 6 fellowships of INR 15000 per month to each student will be awarded every year which is tenable for 3 years.
  • Chief Minister’s further education Scholarship Scheme, Rajasthan: Administered by the Department of College Education, Government of Rajasthan the Chief Minister’s further education Scholarship Scheme is applicable for candidates who have passed their class 12th with minimum 60% marks and come under the merit list of first 1 Lakh candidates whose annual family income is not more than INR 2.50 Lakh. This merit cum means based scholarship rewards the candidates with a scholarship amount of INR 5,000 per annum.
  • Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP): The government of Rajasthan presents this internship program for all the candidates who have freshly graduated, post-graduated, or are in the final of study. The program is also applicable for candidates who are currently seeking a Ph.D. work from a recognized university. Under this program, the eligible candidates will be awarded a monthly stipend of INR 25,000 as well as a communication allowance of INR 2,500 per month.

SSO Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

One of the main eligibility criteria that you need to fulfill for all such scholarships is that you should be a domicile of Rajasthan state only.   • The annual income of the family should not be more than INR 2,50,000 (for SC/ST/SBC candidates), INR 1,00,000 (for OBC/EBC candidates), INR 2,00,000 (for DNT candidates) and INR 5,00,000 (for candidates studying at a nationalised institution).

Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC candidates, Rajasthan

  • The candidates belonging to general but the EBC category can apply.
  • The annual income of the family should not be more than INR 1 Lakh.
  • The scholarship is applicable for candidates to continue their studies from class 11 to postgraduation.

Post Matric Scholarship for SBC candidates, Rajasthan

  • The candidates belonging to the SBC category and studying in class 11 to postgraduation level can apply.
  • The annual income of the family should not be more than INR 1,08,000.

Ambedkar International Scholarship Scheme for SC candidates, Rajasthan

  • The applicant must belong to the age group of 18 to 35 years.
  • The graduate candidates in the field of Engineering/Medical/Law/Agriculture, postgraduates in any field and candidates pursuing doctoral degree courses can apply.
  • The applicant should have a firm command over MS Office and good communication as well as presentation skills.
