Maulana Azad National Scholarship 2021-22

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship is offered by Maulana Azad Foundation, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. Girl students from class 9th to 12th are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The annual family income of the student must not be more than INR 2 lakhs. The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institute. Girl students studying in class 9th and 10th will get INR 5000 each per year and studying in class 11th and 12th will get INR 6000 each per year.

Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) is offered by the University Grant Commission (UGC) for six minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains). Candidates are provided five-year fellowships in the form of financial assistance who are studying M.Phil and Ph.D. programs in India. The annual family income must not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs. Fellowship of INR 25000 per month is provided for two years (JRF) and INR 28000 per month (SRF).

The maximum duration of an M.Phil is two years and for M.Phil+Ph.D., the duration is five years.

Maulana Azad Scholarship Amount

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship’s amount is divided into two parts: one for class 9th and 10th and another for class 11th and 12th. Class 9th and 10th class students are provided the amount of INR 5000 per year and students of class 11th and 12th are provided a scholarship of INR 6000 per year. Maulana Azad Scholarship 2021 last date is December of every year.

Full Course Fees Scholarship

The applicants need to fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for full course fees concession (vidyasiri fee concession amount).

  • The applicant should be a permanent citizen of Karnataka State.
  • For SC / ST candidates, the annual income of the parents/guardians/family should be up to 2 lakh per year.
  • For backward class/PWD candidates, the income of parents/guardians/family should be up to 1 lakh per year.
  • Applicants should be pursuing in post-matric programs approved by the Karnataka Government.
  • To apply for this scholarship, the applicant should have 75% attendance.

Vidyasiri Scholarship Reward Amount

  • Free Hostel Accommodation Amount: Hostel Accommodation/Fee is provided by the Karnataka government to chosen applicants based on the merit list.
  • PMS FAAS, FC and NUR Scholarship Amount: Consequently, about 20000 applicants will take benefit of this scholarship every year. The scholarship covers the full course fee concession in which the applicant is pursuing. Whenever the eligible applicant will be shortlisted for scholarship, the sum amount will be transferred directly to his/her accounts.
  • Pratibha Purskar Amount: The Pratibha Purskar contributes Rs.10,000 to 1000 SSLC students and Rs. 15,000 to 500 Secondary PUC students based on merit.

A limited number of Post Matric Scholarship for Minority, SC Category is available. Students from the lowest income BPL families will be given preference in ascending order. The renewal applications will be fully devastated before the new applications are considered.

Post Matric Scholarship Renewal Scheme

  • Once the Post Matric Scholarship will be awarded to the students may be renewed during the next academic year. That means during the next academic year course on the production of a certificate.
  • Students who have secured at least 50% of marks in the examination will be allotted for scholarship Renewal.

Post Matric Scholarship Terms and Conditions

  • The scholarship can be given to only a maximum of two children in the same family.
  • The scholarship may be canceled in case of a violation of any terms and conditions of the scholarship.
