Summary In English
This story is about the wind and the sun. They both want to show their superiority on the man walking down the road. That man was wearing a coat. Wind claims that it is more powerful and make that man remove his coat more quickly. To prove that, wind started blowing at a very fast speed but the man holds his coat tightly. At last wind was unable to get off the mans coat.
On the other hand sun begins to shine harder and suddenly it begins to grow hot. The man was unable to bear the heat and removed his coat and at last the sun wins.

यह कहानी हवा तथा सूरज के बारे में है। वे दोनों सड़क पर चलते आदमी पर अपनी श्रेष्ठता का प्रदर्शन करना चाहते हैं। आदमी ने एक कोट पहन रखा था। हवा ने यह दावा किया कि वह ज्यादा शक्तिशाली है तथा वह आदमी के शरीर से कोट को तुरंत उतरवा सकती है। इसे साबित करने के लिए हवा ने तीव्र गति के साथ बहना प्रारंभ किया, किंतु आदमी ने अपने कोट को कसकर पकड़े रखा। अंत में हवा आदमी का कोट उतरवाने में सफल नहीं हो सकी। दूसरी तरफ, सूरज तेज़ी से चमकना प्रारंभ करता है तथा कुछ ही क्षणों में उसकी गरमी काफी बढ़ जाती है। आदमी इस गरमी से कोट को पहन सकने में सफल नहीं हो पाता तथा उसे उतार देता है। अंत में, सूरज की विजय होती हैं।

2. A giraffe comes by. He stretches his
long neck. He eats the sweet leaves
at the top of the trees.
“I want a long neck,” says Little
Monkey. “POP!” His neck grows long, just like the
giraffe’s.

खींचकर बढ़ाता है। वह पेड़ के ऊपर के मीठे पत्तों को

4. He fills his trunk with water.
He blows it all over himself. “I want
to do that, too!” says Little Monkey.
BANG!” Just like that, he grows a trunk.

डालता है। “मैं भी यह करना चाहता हूँ।” छोटा
बंदर कहता है। “बैंग!” उसी प्रकार से उसकी भी एक

5. He is very happy. “This is fun!”
he says.
Next, Little Monkey sees a zebra.
“I want stripes like those,” he says.
“WHIZZ!”
Little Monkey has strines all over his
body, just like the zebra.

6. He is very, very happy.
He goes to the river to try out his
new trunk.
He looks down. He sees himself in the water.
“Mother!” he cries. “Help! Amonster!”
“That’s not a monster,” says his
mother. “That’s you.”

7.  “You want a giraffe’s neck, an
