RTE UP Admission 2019: Under Right to Education Act RTE 2009 25 percent of the seats in non-government schools are reserved for the children coming from the weaker sections of the society. They are entitled to free and compulsory education till class 8. The state government of UP invites applications for RTE admission online on the website http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/

RTE UP Admission 2019 Admission Process

The RTE UP Admission 2019 forms will be available on the website http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/. Follow the steps for the admission procedure:

  1. Go to the website http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/
  2. Click on “Online Application”. Select your District, Town/Block, Student Name, Mobile Number, Date of Birth & Gender.
  3. The “Student Registration Slip” will be generated.
  4. Click on the “Complete the Form” Button, in order to proceed
  5. Fill the Registration form with the complete details
  6. Choose the preferred school from the drop down list
  7. Upload the required documents
  8. Click on the Submit button, after checking the details in the form preview
  9. Take a printout of the filled form for future reference

The following documents are needed for the admission process

  1. Address Proof – Voter Card, Aadhaar Card or Passport act as Address Proof
  2. Age Proof – Birth Certificate, Verified Document from Panchayat or Other Relevant Document
  3. Self-Attested Document
  4. Recent Passport Size image of the Student

The documents should be scanned and size of the scanned document must not exceed 100KB.

RTE UP Admission 2019 Application Status

In order to check the application status, the student’s registration number should be noted. The following steps can be checked to see the status of the application

  1. Go to “Online Application and click on “Student Login”
  2. Enter the mobile number and registration number to login
  3. The application status will be visible

RTE UP Admission 2019 Result

The results can be checked on the official website http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/. The admission process will be based on a lottery system. The candidates will be granted admission according to the order of the state authority. The candidates will each be assigned a unique number and an unbiased lottery system will decide the admissions.

NIRF Rankings 2019

NIRF Rankings – India Rankings 2019 Top Colleges in Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy and Law

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) released fourth edition of India Rankings for the year 2019 based on the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The fourth edition of India Rankings builds upon the last three annual exercises undertaken between 2016 and 2018 with some improvements.

A Round-Table Meeting for India Rankings 2019 (NIRF) was convened under the chairmanship of Shri R. Subrahmanyam, Secretary (HE) at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 8th August, 2018 wherein stakeholders from institutes across various disciplines were invited to participate and provide their feedback on ways and means to improve this annual exercise. 26 participants from 22 institutions attended the workshop. Domain-specific sub­committees were set-up for various disciplines to examine the feedback provided by the participants during the round table meeting. Some of these feedbacks / suggestions were incorporated for ranking of domain-specific ranking of institutions.

JoSAA Seat Allotment 2019: JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment Results 2019 Is To Be Released On 22nd June 2019 @ josaa.nic.in. However, the Authority has not declared the official dates yet. The Official Dates will be available soon on the official website. Candidates who have qualified the JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2019 will be eligible to participate in JoSAA Seat Allotment process. The Counselling process will take place online, where the candidates have to register and fill in their choices respectively before the due date. Through JoSAA Seat Allotment, you can get admission in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs, and 23 other Government Funded Technical Institutes.

JoSAA 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Seat Allotment Process

There are as such no eligibility criteria for participating in the Seat Allotment Procedure. However, the candidates have to satisfy the eligibility conditions of the institutes that are participating. Like, to get admission in NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Institutions, the candidates have to satisfy the JEE Main 2019 Eligibility. Similarly, for admission in IIT, the candidate must satisfy the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2019.

How to Register for JoSAA Seat Allotment and Choice Filling 2019?

The JoSAA 2019 Seat Allotment will take place in the second week of June 2019. The mode of the Seat Allotment Registration is online. Candidates have to visit the official website so as to register themselves and select their choices of Institutions and colleges. Hence, the step by step procedure of JoSAA Seat Allotment 2019 is as follows-

Step I – Registration and Choice Filling

To start with the registration, you need to log-in the account using the JEE Main Password and Roll Number. Candidates who have registered for JEE Advanced, have to use their JEE Advanced Registration details to log-in.

Soon after Log-In, you can see the details like gender, nationality, state code of eligibility, contact details etc. Check the details and reconfirm. You cannot modify any personal details other than the Contact Information.

Step-II Filling the Choices

Once the registration is done successfully, you will have to fill in the choices of the branches and colleges as per your preferences. According to your educational qualifications, the colleges will be listed for selection. You can also arrange your choices by selecting the “Arrange Filled Choices” option.

Step-III Locking Choices

Once you are done with the choice filling, recheck your preferences and click on the lock choices. Candidates must note that, once the choices are locked, you cannot modify it again. After locking the choices, take the printout of the selected choices for the future reference.

JoSAA Rank List 2019

The JoSAA will release the rank list in various ways. However, the rank list will be available online on its official website. Here, you can check the types of the merit list that JoSAA will publish. The Rank List will denote the list of the selected candidates for the counseling. Thus, you can check the JoSAA Rank List types-

Common Rank List

The Common Rank List will contain the overall rank of the candidates. Candidates belonging to all the categories will be listed here. Hence, the candidates belonging to General, General-PWD, OBC-NCL, OBC-NCL-PWD, SC, SC-PWD, ST, and ST-PWD will be listed on the Common Rank List of JoSAA 2019.

Common Rank- PWD

The Common Rank PWD List will contain the category rank of General-PWD,OBC-NCL-PWD, SC-PWD, and ST-PWD.

OBC-NCL Rank List

This list will contain the qualified candidates who belong to the OBC-NCL and OBC-NCL PWD Category. Similarly, a separate merit list for MBS-NCL-PWD will be available.

SC Category List

This Rank List will contain the qualified candidates of SC, and SC-PWD Category.

ST Category List

The ST Category List will contain the list qualified candidates who belong to ST and ST PWD. Similarly, a separate merit list will be available for the candidates who belong to the ST-PWD Category.

JoSAA Mock Allotment Round 2019

Before, conducting a JoSAA 2019 Seat Allotment, the conducting authority will conduct a Mock Seat Allotment Round. This is just a trial round, which will help the candidates to know their chances in the desired colleges and courses on the basis of their rank and preference. Soon after the result declaration, the candidates will be able modify their selected choices and of the colleges and courses accordingly.

Counselling Round of JoSAA 2019

The JoSAA 2019 Counselling Round will take place online. In this round, you can perform different actions such as Registration, Choice Filling, and Locking. This activity has to be done before the due date. Once the completion of the Registration Round, the Mock Allotment Test will be done in two rounds. On the basis of the Mock Allotment Result, the candidates can modify their preferences. However, the counseling rounds for JoSAA 2019 Seat Allotment will take place in 7 rounds. Only qualified candidates will be eligible for the JoSAA Counselling 2019.

Hence, candidates who have been allotted seats, will have to download their Allotment Letter and pay the seat acceptance fees. After that, they have to report the reporting centers for the document verification. Once, the Document Verification is completed, they have to report the allotted institute and confirm their seat.

JoSAA Seat Allotment Rounds

The JoSAA 2019 Seat Allotment Round will take place in seven rounds with two mock allotment rounds. On the basis of their JEE Main and Advanced Scores of 2019, and preferences candidates will be allotted Institutes. Thus, to check your qualification status result, the candidates have to login using the credentials.

To Download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, the applicants have to pay a seat acceptance fees of Rs 35, 000/-. Once, the payment is successful, the candidates have to visit the reporting centers for Document Verification. However, the JoSAA provides certain options for the candidates to select or reject the choices of seats. Therefore, the candidates can perform the following activities-

  • Floating – You can select this option, if you want to accept the offered seat but still want to an upgrade in the admission in a better college or course.
  • Freezing – This option can be chosen if you have accepted the allotted seats and do not wish to participate in further rounds.
  • Sliding- This option states that, the candidate has accepted the allotted seat but still wants to go for an upgrade to get a better course in the same institute.

Hence, the candidates have to report the allotted college and confirm their admission by paying the remaining academic fees.

A total of 97 Institutes are participating in the JoSAA 2019 Seat Allotment. While filling the choices, the candidates have to select from the list of the following institutes to get admission. The Institutes comprise of 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs, and 20 GFTIs.

JoSAA Reporting Centers 2019

Once the seat is allotted to the candidates, the candidates have to visit the reporting centers for document verification and confirm their admission. The list of the reporting centers will be available online on the official website. Therefore, we have mentioned a few things that you have to keep in mind while reporting the JoSAA Reporting Centers.

  • Candidates must be present physically present at the reporting centres for document verification.
  • You need to carry your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter along with the other documents for the document verification round. You need to carry both original and photocopy.
  • The reporting centres for IITs, IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs will be different. Like for an example, if you are allotted in an IIT Institute, then you will have to visit the reporting center for IIT.
  • Once the Document Verification is completed, the candidate will have to report the allotted institute to complete the further admission formalities.
  • If there is any change in the seat allotment of the candidate, then you have to present at the changed institute.
  • If you fail to be present, then your candidature will be canceled.

  • An Undertaking Letter by the candidate as per the given format

  • National Open School Pass out Candidates have to submit the proof of place of examination center of the final examination to determine the state code

JoSAA Registration 2019: Joint Seat Allocation Authority abbreviated as JoSAA is an authority which takes the responsibility for organizing the counseling mainly for qualified students of JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The authority is set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Through this centralized counseling, qualifiers are allotted seat in any of the 23 IITs, 23 IIITS, 31 NITs, and 23 other GFTIs. JoSAA Eligibility 2019

There is no specific JoSAA 2019 eligibility prescribed for candidates, in fact, students have to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the participating institutes. For instance, getting admitted into IIITs, NFTIs or other GFTIs requires that candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria of JEE Main while getting admitted into IITs require that applicants fulfill the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced.

JoSAA 2019 Registration and Choice Filling

Candidates who will qualify JEE Main/JEE Advanced and whose names will be there in the JoSAA 2019 rank list will be able to register for JoSAA 2019 followed by the choice filling in the second week of June 2019. The steps are mentioned below in detail:

Step 1 – Online Registration

Candidates who want to register for JEE Main have to login into their account using their JEE Main roll number and password while candidates who want to register for JEE Advanced have to log in using their JEE Advanced roll number and password. Once the student will be logged in, he or she will be able to observe a number of basic details. Candidates have to check all these details and make sure that they are correct.

Note: Candidates can only modify the contact details.

Step 2 – Filling of Choices

In this step, aspirants have the facility to select the choice of B.Tech discipline and college as per their preference and interest. However, candidates will be able to select the choices from the list made available according to their qualification. Once an individual will select the choices he or she has to arrange them in priority order using the “Arrange Filled Choices” option.

Step 3 – Locking of Filled Choices

It is very important for aspirants to lock the choices after they have been filled. If candidates do not lock their filled choices then the conducting authority will automatically lock the choices previously selected by an individual.

NOTE – No changes can be made once the choices will be locked.

Step 4 – Take a Printout of Selected Choices

Once the choices will be locked, students must take a printout of the selected choices for future use.

JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2019

The authority will first conduct the JoSAA 2019 mock seat allotment with the help of which students will gain an idea about their chances of getting admission in the desired college based on the choices filled and the rank obtained. By this idea, candidates will be able to make changes in the choices filled after the result will be announced for this mock seat allotment of JoSAA 2019.
