    The two isotopes of chlorine have atomic masses 35 u and 37 u. Should they be placed in same slot in the periodic table?
    Yes, they should be placed in the same slot because periodic table is based on the atomic numbers of the element and both the isotopes of chlorine have the same atomic number (Z = 17).
